Luis Urbano
He has a degree in Economic and Business Sciences by the San Pablo University Study Centre (C.E.U.), Madrid, having carried out postgraduate studies in Brussels (MCE) and an MBA in Lausanne (IMD). He is currently a partner of the consumer practice of Heidrick & Struggles Spain, specialising in high level work in the Leisure and Entertainment, Distribution and Real Estate sectors. Given his previous professional experience in the Real Estate and Insurance fields, he is also a member of the Financial Services practice.
Before joining the human resources consultancy, Luis Urbano held important posts of international relevance, such as General Manager of Thorn EMI Rental Spain, General Manager of Virgin Retail for South Europe, General Manager of the Riofisa Group and Chief Executive for Europe of Deluxe Entertainment. At the start of his career he held posts in the finances area of Imperio Seguros and Sedgwick James Spain (now AON).
Luis is a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Circle (Círculo de Empresarios) and guest lecturer at Business Schools, such as ESADE and ESIC.
