The First International Talent Forum, which have taken place on the 11th and 12th of February 2009, has been created with the objective of becoming an Reflection Forum where experts and participants can define a joint declaration on “The development of Talent in the age of Knowledge” from three related perspectives: context, institutions and individuals.
This Forum was created as an initial meeting point and as an opportunity to formalise the creation and the introduction of the Agora Permanent; which is expected to become the international benchmark for debate, for proposing actions and to serve as consultation body for the adaptation of business actions and of political and educational policies related to future Talent.
It is proposed that the International Forum should meet up, initially every two years.
Who will become members of the Agora Permanent?
The “Agora Permanent” is integrated by those who participated in the International Meeting (as speakers) and also persons designated by the enterprises and institutions that are backing and sponsoring the First International Forum.
One of the characteristics of the Agora Permanent is that it brings together both the didactic and theoretical knowledge of the members of the International Forum, as well as the practical and multi-disciplinary knowledge of participating enterprises.
In addition, the Agora Permanent expects to become, not only the driving force and the facilitator of specific initiatives which, in the Talent field, will promote institutional, enterprises and political change, but also the consultative body for programmes and policies which require expert evaluation.
Among the aims, they figure the technician - scientific direction of the following biennial editions and the future Prize of Talentia, the generation of relevant studies and to guard over the adhesion of the commitments acquired in the International Declaration of Navarra.
